I am as disappointed as everyone else in the lack of communication, but as @0leandr1 says it is not unusual for crowd funded projects to go silent. I still hold out with the hope that there may actually be good news that is not being shared, Jon's last communication came during the Dublin Summit. ***
Pure speculation on my part in the following scenario:
Jon was actually successful in finding an interested investor, that deal is still in the works and includes a confidentiality agreement that is causing the current extended lack of communication.
My reasoning is that up to this point Jon has always checked in, in some way at least every 30 to 60 days, even with bad news, up until Dublin refunds were being processed. Now absolutely nothing from any source, this is the only silver lining I can see the possibility of.
If I am wrong I will be disappointed but I knew going into this project that I was betting on a stranger to deliver a product that was head and shoulders above the competition at far less than the cost of any combination of products that could perform similarly.
My wife continues to remind me "If it seems to be too good to be true, It usually is."
