@Randers11314, I will start with agreeing with you that @meetearl has dropped the ball on customer service and should be at the very minimum posting here on the forum or on the updates section of the main page. I personally would be satisfied with most anything, still trying to get it made, too many backers pulled out not enough funding, never going to happen.
As for trolling dissatisfied customers, I do want to point out that if your definition of proactive includes posting virtually the same message 3 times minutes apart calling out the only VOLUNTEER who has made any successful attempt to get other users of this forum a refund. Then my calling you out in response to 2 of those messages reiterating statements made by that same volunteer explaining the process, that you either ignored or did not understand, was also being proactive.
once again shows you did not read or understand the posts i quoted as this is included in those posts
Todd posts here confirming that he has received and passed on the information as his schedule allows, here is the response to your request.
As for my being an argumentative forum troll, I used EXACTLY the same tactics as you.
I have never attacked anyone for wanting a refund, as stated above and in other posts I have made, I believe that you are entitled to a refund by Jon's making that a part of his original posting of the crowdfunding offer. On the other hand, why should Todd said volunteer, or the rest of us have to endure your proactive calls for attention, when a single post would have done?
I agree 100% that Jon is a terrible communicator and a poor excuse for a businessman, but it has been widely accepted here on the forums that he not only doesn't post here, but also doesn't read what we post. Therefore Todd seems to be the only line of communication to him. As the old saying goes "Don't shoot the messenger."
I have believed from day one that this was a crowdfunded project, it seems that many of the backers interpreted that to mean guaranteed pre-order, rather than an at risk investment, I see participants as investors (mini venture capitalists) rather than customers. As Jon did offer a full refund on the original offer page, as an active forum member, I have made every attempt to assist those seeking such a refund to utilize the only proven path to getting said refund, since none of the posted email addresses seem to reach anyone.
Forgive me for being frustrated that a number of forum users seem to ignore any and all attempts to get them that information. I respond in the same way that I read the original post. If it is missing information I will point the user to the needed information. If it is snarky, such as posting the same message in multiple threads, my response will be snarky as well. Why should you be allowed to spam the forum with multiple comments yet be immune to backlash, unless you think you are more important than other users?
